Field of View Exhibit at DaVinci Art Alliance

  • Da Vinci Art Alliance 704 Catharine Street Philadelphia, PA, 19147 United States (map)

Join the opening party for Omar Buenaventura’s Field of View, an exploration of land use from the Lenape through to the destruction that began in 2022 under the guise of ‘remediation’ by Parks & Rec.

The field of view can be as vast as the eye can see or it can be as minute as a pixel of a specific area of interest. Why is it so hard to see through someone else’s eyes? The ability to perceive varies on our inclination on what we want to see. This immersive installation celebrates the joy, the love and the struggle to continue cultural traditions, illustrating living in Lenape land preserving and respecting both our heritage and our environment. Field of View by Omar Buenaventura will be on view in Gallery 2 at Da Vinci Art Alliance.

Visit the Da Vinci Art Alliance website to learn more.
Show runs March 29th until April 23rd.
